KP govt extends closure of restaurants till Apr 14

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has extended closure of restaurants across the province till Apr 14.

The decision has been taken in the wake of the escalation in the transmission of COVID19 and owing to the immediate requirement of further preventive measures for social distancing in continuation of the emergency already declared under section 16 (A) (1) of the National Disaster Management Authority (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Act 2010.

The notification issued by KP Relief Rehabilitation and Settlement Department read, “The KP government is pleased to order that all restaurants, eateries, fast food joints shall remain closed till Apr 14. However, home delivery shall be allowed to essential establishments as well as pharmacies.”
