KP govt directs to establish vaccination centre for journalists
PESHAWAR: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has directed to establish a coronavirus vaccination centre at the Peshawar Press Club (PPC) to administer coronavirus vaccines to journalists.
Special Assistant to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister for Information and Higher Education Kamran Bangash said KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan had issued orders in this regard on request of the leadership of the Peshawar Press Club.
“Journalists are putting their lives in danger to provide awareness to the masses,” he said adding that 30-years-old and above journalists would be vaccinated.
The KP CM’s aide said that the provincial government was taking measures to resolve the issues faced by journalists. He said that in a couple of days the vaccination center would be inaugurated. He said that procedure and schedule of the vaccination would be devised in consultation with the PPC leadership.
