KP govt decides to impose COVID restrictions in nine districts
MANSEHRA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to impose restrictions in nine districts from Monday in the wake of surge in coronavirus cases.
According to a notification, these districts include Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan, Upper and Lower Chitral, Mansehra, Kohat, Karak and Dera Ismail Khan.
The markets in these districts will be closed by 8:00 at night, while dining out facilities will be available till 10:00. The business centers will remain closed for two days a week.
Seventy more deaths due to Coronavirus infection and 3,239 new positive cases have been reported on Friday in Pakistan, in a single day.
According to the National Command and Operation Center, 51,982 tests were conducted. The death toll due to pandemic has now reached 24,783.
