PESHAWAR: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allowed construction of a cricket stadium at the tourist valley, Kalam, in Swat district.
Sports and Tourism Department of KP said that the cricket stadium would be built at the cost of 607 million rupees in Swat. A three-star hostel would also be built along the stadium for players, it said.
The department official said that the stadium would have the capacity to accommodate 20,000 spectators. He said the stadium would be used as a summer camp as well for players.
