KP govt allows Desert Jeep Rally to pass through CPEC route

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has given permit to hold Desert Jeep Rally passing through the route of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The authorities have allowed the rally from the CPEC route to Zhob, Balochistan after reviewing the COVIID-19 situation in the province’s southern districts.

The 172-kilometer rally will be held between March 26 and 28.

Keeping the third wave of the infection in mind, the participants are required to submit their negative COVID-19 report while only two person will be allowed in a vehicle.

According to an official notification, over 50 persons will not be allowed for gathering meanwhile wearing masks and other COVID-19 SOPs will be made compulsory to follow during the rally.
