‘Kisan Portal’ launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan
According to the media reports, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan inaugurated the ‘Kisan Portal’ for farmers on Friday (today) as part of the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal.
Kisan Portal has built 123 dashboards in relevant bodies at the federal and provincial levels.
Addressing the inaugural event in Islamabad, Prime Minister Imran Khan stated that Allah is happy with the assistance of the working class, since the bulk of the working class is comprised of small farmers.
The Prime Minister stated that our goal is to assist small farmers. When a farmer goes to sell his harvest, he has to sell it inexpensively; our government is trying to give farmers a fair price for their products.
“We attempted to get the farmers the full price of sugarcane, and when they started obtaining the full price of the commodity, output rose,” the PM stated.
While emphasising the need for water storage, he stated that 10 large dams are being built in Pakistan after 50 years. “We need to conserve water so that we can avert flooding.”
According to the Prime Minister, farmers must be taught the new approach, and there is also a training course. The agriculture sector has also been covered within the CPEC umbrella.
