Khyber Pakhtunkhwa govt reopens tourist spots
PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to CM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for Higher Education, Information and Public Relations Kamran Khan Bangash on Monday announced that the provincial government had lifted the ban on visiting tourist spots, which were closed during the peak of third wave of coronavirus.
Kamran Bangash said that it was a good news for tourists, however they should ensure cleanliness at the tourist spots.
He also requested that the coronavirus standard operating procedures should be ensured including wearing of masks and maintaining social distancing.
The tourist spots have been reopened in Swat, Malakand and other areas of the province almost after two weeks of their closure. Hotel and restaurant owners were the most worried due to the ban on tourist activities.
