PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has approved construction of 16 new colleges in the province at a cost of 4.9 billion rupees.

The approval was given during a meeting in Peshawar on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Provincial Development Working Party in its meeting also approved 450.8 million rupees to overcome shortage of teaching staff in schools and colleges of the merged tribal districts.
