Khyber Pakhtunkhwa CM’s special assistant tests positive for COVID-19

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s Special Assistant Kamran Bangash has tested positive on Saturday for COVID-19 disease.
Focal Person to Chief Minister Furqan Kakakhel said Kamran Bangash had gone to a hospital after his health condition deteriorated. Doctors got him tested for coronavirus which turned out to be positive, he said.
“His test was conducted at Khyber Medical University yesterday morning at 6:00am, after which he has been isolated at his home,” he said.
The focal person said that samples from 11 more family members of Bangash had been taken and sent to the laboratory for coronavirus test. He said the special assistant had been very active during the corona emergency situation.

“He visited southern district areas a couple of days ago. He was monitoring local government staff’s activities. For the last two months, performance of the local bodies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was one of the best on the Citizen’s Portal,” he said.
