PESHAWAR: Khyber Medical College of Peshawar has been shut down for fortnight after coronavirus was diagnosed in four female students residing at the college’s hostel.
The administration said that the decision to close the college was taken after consultation with the chairman of board of governance. The MBBS students have been directed to get information through website.
The announcement read that the department of forensic lab will continue to provide services 24/7 according to the standard operating procedures of the COVID-19.
The spokesperson of the college said that the affected girls were quarantined and the medical institute had decided to conduct screening tests of all the students residing at the hostel.
