The NAB Lahore had approved filing of a reference on April 26 against the Khawaja brothers and Nadeem Zia for ostensible corruption.
Qaiser Amin Butt, the main individual to be accused in the case, was also mentioned in the inquiry by the NAB and arrested in November the previous year. Later, he agreed to turning against Zia and the Khawaja brothers.
