Khasadar, Levies Force of North Waziristan merged into KP police

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: The paramilitary forces, Khasadar and Levies Force of North Waziristan have been merged into police by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Inspector General Dr Sanaullah Abbasi.

List of the personnel of the paramilitary forces has been issued. Their service will now be according to the KP Police Service Act 2017. The forces were merged on recommendation of the provincial police officer and approval of the cabinet. While a notification regarding incorporation of 279 Khasadar and Levies Force officials has been issued.

Three subedars were converted into sub-inspectors of BPS-14. Two junior subedars were converted to ASI of BPS-11. 22 havaldars will be BPS-9 head constable.
