Khan won’t remain prime minister if Gillani wins senate polls, says Asif Zardari

The former president, Asif Ali Zardari has said that Imran khan will not remain prime minister once Yousuf Raza Gillani becomes the Senate chairperson.

A meeting was held between the former president, Asif Ali Zardari and the former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani on Sunday, including other Pakistan Peoples Party’s leaders.

The two PPP leaders discussed the political situation and the upcoming Senate polls in the meeting.

Bilawal Bhutto Zaradari and other political leaders were also present in the meeting.

Zardari further briefed them on his contacts with former premier and the supremo of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Nawaz Sharif, and Pakistan Democratic Movement’s chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
