Versatile actress Resham called out writer Khalil-ur-Rehman for making such insulting remarks against Mahira Khan.
Eminent writer Khalil-ur-Rehman made a lot of controversial statements recently and one of the comments against actress Mahira Khan started a debate on social media. The writer said that he will never forgive Mahira Khan because of the hurtful statements she had made in the past. He further added, “I had great respect for Mahira but I’ll always regret giving her an important and sacred role in the drama “Sadqey Tumhare”.
Recently, actress Resham appeared on a talk show where she said, “I’ve been seeing it for the past two years that he is after Mahira Khan and claims that he gave her Sadqay Tumhare. How did you give her that drama? That was given by the channel and the producer. You’re a writer and you wrote a great script and submitted it as a part of your job. Sometimes he attaches his name with a big artist for a claim to fame and that too with whom? A woman.”
he actress also appreciated his writing style while stating, “Limited to his work, I agree, there are only a few people who write so well. There are only a few who can pen dialogues of that level, like one or two, there’s no doubt. I pray that Allah gives him more respect but when I read on social media that he is after artists like Mahira Khan and says that he doesn’t want to give her a ‘chance’ — but you never gave that [in the first place]”.
