Bollywood song “Kesariya” copy of famous Pakistani song “Laree Choote”

 Bollywood song “Kesariya” copy of famous Pakistani song “Laree Choote”

It is not the first time when Bollywood tries to copy content made by Pakistani artists. Now the makers of the upcoming Bollywood film Brahmastra have copied the melody of the famous Pakistani song Laree choote.

Bollywood song Kesariya starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt is pretty much similar to a famous Pakistani song ‘Laree choote’ by the band Call. The chorus of the song is quite like the melody of a Pakistani song.

Netizens noticed how much the music resembled the hit song by the band Call. They criticised the creators for copying the melody and not creating their original work.

Abe itna bhi copy mat karo 😂#Kesariya pic.twitter.com/uNtaHKhylM

Absolutely ridiculous that Bollywood has banned Pakistani artists but keeps ripping off their music without credit them. Music of Brahmastra song #Kesariya seems to have ripped off Call The Band song #LaareeChootee

Kesariya = Laree Choote

Damn, can this film produce anything original without copying anything?

Recently, Karan Johar’s film “JugJugg Jeeyo” also used the famous Pakistani song ‘Nach Punjaban’ by Abrar-ul-Haq. The singer strongly condemn this act and criticised Karan Johar for using his work without seeking any permission.

I have not sold my song “ Nach Punjaban” to any Indian movie and reserve the rights to go to court to claim damages. Producers like @karanjohar should not use copy songs. This is my 6th song being copied which will not be allowed at all.@DharmaMovies @karanjohar
