Kashmiris observe India’s Independence Day as ‘Black Day’ today
Expressing the extreme hatred against India to mark strong protest over Delhi’s forced Aug, 5, 2019 nefarious action of scrapping special status of Jammu and Kashmir state, the people of disputed Himalayan state would observe India’s independence day on August 15 as Black Day.
The day is marked by a complete shutdown and civil curfew in occupied territory and black flags are hoisted everywhere in the occupied territory.
The Kashmiris across the world are holding anti-India demonstrations to draw world’s attention towards the Indian brutalities in IIOJK.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leaders including Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Shabbir Ahmad Shah in their statements said India has no right to celebrate its Independence Day in IIOJK as it is holding the territory against the will of the Kashmiri people.
Meanwhile, curfew-like restrictions have been imposed in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) in the name of security measures on India’s Independence Day, today, making daily life of the people a hell.
Indian troops, paramilitary and police personnel have been deployed in strength in every nook and corner of the territory, subjecting the people to immense discomfort.
