Kareena Kapoor teaches Taimur about vaccination through ‘Tom & Jerry’
Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor has taught her son Taimur Khan about importance of coronavirus vaccination with the help of Tom & Jerry cartoon.
The video of the cartoon that she shared on her Instagram shows Tom as coronavirus who is holding a gun to shoot Jerry (immune system) but within no time Jerry (immune system) becomes stronger with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and much stronger with the second dose. Upon seeing such a strong opponent before him, Tom runs away like a wind.
In a short note, Kareena Kapoor said, “We don’t realise that our kids are also absorbing what’s going on and they are scared too.”
She said she and her husband Saif Ali Khan were talking to Tim (Taimur) to try and explain why all the adults needed to be vaccinated and she think the cartoon scene summed it up pretty well.
“It’s really that simple. But like we explain to our kids, we too need to be patient and help everyone who is trying to help us — medics, pharma, authorities and the millions of volunteers — please register and wait for your turn,” she said requesting people to break the chain.
India on Friday registered more than 386,000 coronavirus cases and 3,498 deaths in the biggest single-day spike so far since the pandemic began.
