ISLAMABAD: Karakorum Highway between Gilgit and Rawalpindi has been blocked for all type of traffic because of land sliding.
The road was hit by landslide at Doga Nallah near Dasu in Kohistan on Friday.
The KKH between Gilgit and Hunza has also been blocked for traffic due to landslide in Hassanabad Hunza.
Workers of the Frontier Works Organization have restored road for light traffic in Sost Upper Hunza, Radio Pakistan reported.

Karachi received light rain on Friday morning, causing temperature to drop in the city to 19.5 degree centigrade.
According to details, the Pakistan Meteorological Department had forecast rain on Thursday and Friday after a rain cycle entered Sindh on Wednesday.
Light rain was reported in several areas of Karachi, including Shahra e Faisal, Sadar, II Chandigarh Road, Tower, Boat Basin, MA Jinnah Road and Korangi.
Sardar Sarfraz, the director of the meteorological department, said that rainfall was forecast throughout Sindh. Light rains in Karachi will continue till tomorrow night, he added.
He further said that the rains will make Karachi’s weather cold.
MET has forecast rain and thunderstorm in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. The temperature in the megalopolis is expected to further drop to 14 degree centigrade on Sunday.
