Badar Rais, a passionate kitesurfer from Karachi, is claiming the city’s famous Clifton Beach in order to revive the extreme water sport which is full of action and thrill.
Badar recounts how he got introduced with the sport at a Australian beach, back in 2010. “When I saw it (people doing kitesurfing) first time, It was so inspirational that I went to kitesurfing school there and registered myself […..] There has been no looking back since December 2010 ” Badresh tells Dialogue Pakistan.

Badar adds that he is the second kitesurfer in Karachi after a person named Asif Aziz who has motivated him to try doing the sport on Karachi beaches. Asif now lives in Canada.
He says more people should come and join this water sport and make it a big community
