 Karachi’s Covid-19 positivity ratio exceeds 21%

Karachi is witnessing an alarming surge in coronavirus cases by the Omicron variants BA4 and BA5 with positivity rate reaching nearly 21.23% in the metropolis during the last 24 hours.

According to the National Institutes of Health, the rate of positive cases of corona in Karachi has exceeded 21%.

In the last 24 hours, 650 corona tests were conducted in Karachi out of which 138 persons were confirmed to be infected and the corona rate in the city was 21.23%.

On the other hand, after Karachi, the highest rate of corona in cities across the country was 8% in Abbottabad.

In addition, no case of Corona has been reported in Hyderabad during the last 24 hours.

It should be noted that during the last 24 hours, the rate of positive cases of Corona has been recorded at 2.14% across the country.
