Karachi University to reopen offices on Jul 15, resume classes on Aug 3

KARACHI: The University of Karachi has announced to open its administration and department offices on July 15 and resume classes on August 3 the following year.

According to a notification, the decision is subject to permission by the concerned authority.

The notification reads that second semester will commence from Aug 3. Leftover theory/ practical classes of the first semester will be held from Aug 3 to Oct 29 on every Saturday and Sunday. Course Incharges will be free to accommodate all those classes, conducted online so far. Examination of the second semester should also complete during this duration. Exam of the second semester will be held from Nov 23.

New academic session will commence from Jan 15. Evening program will also follow the same plan.
