Karachi University Teachers Association announces boycott of classes
Karachi: Karachi University Teachers Association has announced a boycott of classes till February 10.
According to the Karachi University Teachers’ Association, the boycott of classes will continue till the selection board is convened.
The Karachi University Teachers’ Association has demanded that the secretarial boards and universities be sacked and a permanent Vice-Chancellor be appointed.
Protest was being held against the inappropriate behavior of the Secretary Universities.
Secretary Teachers Association Karachi University Mohsin Ali said that the secretary refused to abide by the rules during the selection board, Black Day will be observed against the behavior of the Secretary Boards and Universities.
According to Mohsin Ali, the secretary did not allow the selection board to be held but also adopted an inappropriate attitude which is very intolerable.
Secretary Teachers’ Association further said that the government wants to end the powers of Sindh University, Karachi University will not be compromised.
