Karachi: Training camp for women cricketers to start this weekend
The skills and fitness training camp for women cricketers will be held at Moin Khan Academy in Karachi from Saturday (Apr 3).
According to spokesman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), during 14-day camp, 27 players will be trained under the supervision of coaching staff of women’s national cricket team.
The camp will be held under strict bio-secure environment and players and support staff will be stationed at a local hotel.
In accordance with PCB’s Covid-19 protocols, all those involved in the camp will undergo two tests. Their first tests will be held at their residence on Wednesday (today) and those who return negative tests will undergo second testing on Saturday upon their arrival in Karachi.
