KARACHI: The federal government of Pakistan has agreed to provide 400 megawatts of electricity to Karachi for the upcoming summer in a bid to lower down the power outages.
According to the Power Division Official, K-Electric will get 1,200MW of electricity instead of 800MW.
This decision came following the meeting held earlier between the federal power division and Karachi’s sole power distributor K-Electric.
Moreover, the meeting also discussed financial issues between KE and SSGC.
