KARACHI: More than a dozen shops were sealed on Tuesday night, over violating covid-19 SOPs by the district administration of Karachi
The deputy commissioner revealed that, three transport offices along with a shop were sealed in Garden as it remained open after 6pm, even the people inside were not wearing masks.
Moreover, six shops, including a supermart, were sealed in DHA’s Khadda Market and a shop in Arambagh.
A fine of Rs30,000 was imposed on three offices located in the vicinity of Lyari.
Earlier, the Sindh government imposed restrictions amid the rising cases of covid-19. Shops, malls, and offices are allowed to stay open from 6am to 6pm.
Dine-in and dine-out have been banned. Only takeaway and delivery are allowed.
The people of Karachi have been instructed not to leave their homes after 8pm.
