Karachi reports 167 dengue cases in 24 hours

At least 167 people on Monday admitted at various hospitals across Karachi due to mosquito-borne infection, dengue fever in the last 24 hours, according to the Sindh Health Department.
The health department says that the number of dengue deaths in Sindh province has reached to 51, of which 46 were from Karachi this year.
15,372 dengue cases were recorded across Sindh this year, while 5,218 dengue cases were reported in the Sindh in the month of October alone.
According to the Sindh Health Department, a total of 12,330 dengue cases were recorded in the provincial capital Karachi this year.
Over 6,000 confirmed cases of mosquito-borne infection dengue were reported in the port city during the month of September, while most of the deaths were also reported in the same month alone.
Total 9,826 dengue fever cases reported in Sindh out of which 74 percent were recorded in September alone, according to official data.
