Karachi police arrested robbers who killed Zeeshan Ashraf over robbery resistance

Karachi police on Friday arrested the robbers, who was shot dead Zeeshan Ashraf earlier this month in the metropolis for resisting a robbery.
41-year-old Zeeshan, post graduate from London’s university, was killed in front of his wife and children on September 1 in Gulistan-e-Johar area of Karachi for resisting a robbery.
Zeeshan, his wife and 4-year-old child, were sitting outside the eatery in four-wheeler, where the robbers put his pistol on Zeeshan’s head and told him to hand over all of his valuables, but the deceased resisted and mugger shot him on his forehead.
According to SSP Investigation East, the arrested accused John alias Johny and Yasir alias Gogo also confessed to the crime.
Suspect Yasir has said in his confessional statement that, “the prime suspect John is a habitual criminal and after the incident he had canceled his bail and went to jail.”
After the arrest of suspects, the police recovered the murder weapon, while the wife of the deceased Zeeshan identified both the suspects during the identification parade in the court.
