KARACHI: Three suspects involved in abducting and gang raping a first-year college student have been arrested in Karachi.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Irfan Bahadur, the accused have been identified as Sami, Adil and Fawad.

The victim claimed that apart from Sami and Fawad, there were at least two more people who aided and abetted them.

Earlier on 9^th February, the girl had left her house to attend the college and didn’t return back on time. However, after waiting till 1 pm, the victim’s father rushed to search his daughter.

“Defence Housing Authority (DHA) police station called and informed me that my daughter was found in DHA,” said the victim’s father.

As per the FIR filed with Malir Police, the victim is a resident of the Gulshan-e-Hadeed area and the complaint was filed by her father.

Moreover, the police department has assured the victim’s father their uttermost support in arresting and punishing the culprits.

A lot of  people have taken this matter to social media and demanded justice for the victim.
