Karachi missing girl: Dua Zahra found in Lahore
Dua Zahra, a 14-year-old girl who went missing from Karachi on April 16, was found in Lahore.
Dua Zahra told police in a statement that she came to Lahore from Karachi of her own free will.
Sources said that shortly after, Dua Zahra will reveal all the details in a video statement about how she reached Lahore from Karachi.
Dua Zahra has been taken into custody by Lahore Police.
Lahore police informed Karachi police about the girl’s recovery while Karachi police also confirmed that the girl found from Lahore was Dua Zahra.
The girl has married to a resident of Lahore: Police officials
On the other hand, Dua Zahra’s father said that the police have not yet contacted him regarding the recovery of his daughter.
Police officials said that Dua Zahra got married in Lahore. The boy she got married to is from Lahore.
Investigating officials said that the marriage certificate of Dua Zahra has been obtained and the marriage certificate is being verified.
Authorities said that, police have obtained a search history of Dua’s tablet phone, and are investigating whether the marriage was solemnized by consent or forced.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also confirmed that Dua Zahra had found from Lahore and said that Karachi police was looking into the cases of the all three missing girls.
Provincial Minister Shehla Raza said that Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon has not yet confirmed the recovery of Dua Zahra.
There is no truth in the news of Dua Zahra’s recovery: DIG Operations
DIG Operations Dr Abid Khan said that Karachi police provided marriage certificate of the girl DUa Zahra to Lahore police. Police is looking for the girl from the address on the marriage certificate.
Dr. Abid Khan said that there is no truth in the news of Dua Zahra’s recovery, only after the recovery of Dua Zahra the real facts will come to light.
Earlier, 10 days ago, a 14-year-old girl Dua Zahra went missing from Golden Town area of Karachi after which the police conducted raids at various places to search for her but the police had so far failed to find Dua Zahra.
