Karachi Kings didn’t utilise their talent: Rashid Latif

In an exclusive interview with Dialogue Pakistan, the former national cricket team’s Captain and coach Rashid Latif has said that Karachi Kings did not utilise their talent during a match against Lahore Qalandars on Sunday.
While commenting on Karachi Kings’ batting, Rashid says there should have been 220-run target against Lahore Qalandars as Sharjeel Khan and Mohammad Nabi turned the match in Karachi’s favour.
“People are saying that teams, who are winning toss, are also winning matches….actually the teams (especially who bat first) are scoring less,” explains the former cricketer.
Rashid also advises the Karachi-based franchise to give a chance to left-handed batsman Danish Aziz.
“Another lefthander (after Sharjeel khan) will be successful for Karachi Kings,” Rashid remarks.
For today’s match between Islamabad United and Quetta Gladiators, Rashid declares Islamabad United his favourite while saying that Quetta Gladiator is the only team who can lose a match even after winning a toss and chasing a target due to lack of confidence.
Rashid has also said that he thinks Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United will qualify for the play-off stage first.
