In the 27th match of the Pakistan Super League season six, Karachi Kings have won by seven runs against Lahore Qalandars at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.
Earlier, the Kings won the toss and opted to bat first. The first innings ended with total 176 runs on the Kings’ scoreboard for the loss of five wickets. Babar Azam remained the top scorer with his 54-run innings, followed by Martin Guptill (43) and Imad Wasim (30).
In the second innings, Karachi Kings restricted the Qalandars to 169 against 177-run target.
Lahore Qalandars stand third in the points table while Karachi Kings claim the fifth position.
It was the second league stage match between the two franchises. Lahore Qalandars had beaten Karachi Kings by six wickets on February 28 at National Stadium, Karachi.
Earlier, the PSL6 was postponed in March due to growing Covid-19 concerns in Pakistan. It was later rescheduled in United Arab Emirates which resumed on June 9.
