Over the span of four HBL PSL editions, face-offs between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars have drawn massive crowds into the stadiums and garnered viewership.
Karachi and Lahore, the two biggest cities of the country, are popularly known as the nurseries of Pakistani cricket.
Several of Pakistan’s greatest cricketers namely Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Majid Khan, Zaheer Abbas, Saeed Anwar, Abdul Qadir, Wasim Akram, Younis Khan, Shahid Afridi, Moin Khan and Rashid Latif among others, learned the ropes of their craft in their early ages playing on Karachi’s streets or the huge grounds of Lahore.

Stars such as Sarfaraz Ahmed, Babar Azam and Shan Masood acquainted themselves with cricket playing and practicing in these nurseries.
The two teams unfortunately did not win silverware as both could not make it to the finals. Lahore Qalandars could not reach the playoffs, however.
Both teams will play in front of a enthusiastic crowd at the National Stadium Karachi and Qaddafi Stadium Lahore, this season, anticipating their performance levels to go up like never before.
The group-stage games will be played during five days in the upcoming PSL 2020.
