Karachi is sixth most polluted city in the world

KARACHI: The Air Quality Index has recorded 186 particulate matter in the air in Karachi making the city the sixth most polluted across the globe.  

The capital city of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, leads the ranking followed by Indian city Kolkata.

The classification given in the AQI reads that the pollution in the cities which have particulate matter between 151 and 200 is harmful, pollution between 201 and 300 is extremely harmful, whereas above 300 pollution is hazardous to health.
