Karachi imposes micro smart lockdown in three areas
KARACHI: Due to the rising number of covid-19 cases and the third wave of the viral disease, the micro smart lockdown has been imposed in three areas of Karachi’s District Central.
According to the notification issued by Deputy Commissioner MB Raja Dharejo, it was ordered to seal the entry and exit points of Liaquatabad – C and C-1 areas, North Karachi – sectors 2, 25-A, B-14, D-7 and D-11, North Nazimabad’ blocks L and N.
The notification stated that the lockdown is being imposed after the District Health Officer found the areas to be Covid-19 hotspots.
Moreover, all those entering and exiting the said areas will be required to wear face masks while the irrelevant people who have nothing to do in these areas will not be allowed to pass by them.
