Karachi girl allegedly gang raped by 20 men, officials termed this as ‘Fake News’
A female employee of the multinational denim manufacturing powerhouse, Artistic milliners has been allegedly raped by 20 men inside the premises of office. However, Karachi police have denied this news saying that, “It’s a fake news.”
According to Twitter accounts, the female employee working at Unit 4 of Artistic Milliners factory was allegedly asked to work overtime by her officials. She was drugged and raped in the HR jurisdiction by 20 men throughout the night.
Around 6 am in the morning she finally managed to make her way out of the factory, but passed away due to the injuries and trauma on the premises, the twitter account said.
On the other hand, Karachi officials, Office staff, Crime reporters, and Rescue workers are denying of any rape incident inside the manufacturing house premises.
A Karachi based news reporter Arif Mehmood termed this news false saying that, “No such incident of rape reported in a manufacturing plant in Korangi area,” adding that, “the woman was addicted to drugs whose body was found in the park.”
Another News anchor, Ali Arif shared his views on the incident saying that, “Even after the authorities have denied such incident, even the crime reporters from Karachi denied any such incident [but] some people are reluctant that NO THIS RAPE HAPPENED YOU ARE LYING.”
He further raised questions: Why are you so sure that this happened? Do you know the victim or the family? Just because a forwarded message/social media post which originated from a WhatsApp forwarded message says so you won’t believe what police officials are saying?
However, the news of the alleged gang rape, torture and death has not yet been officially verified by any institute nor a statement in this regard has been released by the multinational denim manufacturing powerhouse.
