Karachi cop saves three girls from drowning in Korangi Nadi
The police officer of Karachi Police has rescued three children from drowning in the Korangi Crossing Nadi of the city.
Upon receiving information, the Baloch Colony police reached the spot and launched a rescue operation. “Three girls – aged 14, 13 and 9 – were stuck in the Korangi Nadi,” officer Sikandar said.
The Additional IG Karachi also announced the reward of Rs25,000 in cash and a certificate of appreciation to the policeman Sikandar for this act of bravery.
A day earlier, four people have died, while a search operation for three people was underway after a car was swept away by a flash flood into Karachi’s Malir River Wednesday night.
The tragic accident occurred in the Malir River when the family’s car was swept away by a flash flood due to heavy rainfall. The rescue teams found the vehicle and started a search for the missing family.
