Karachi boy dies after falling from 17th floor of building near Do Darya

A BBA student died on Sunday after he fell off the 17th floor of a building near Do Darya under mysterious circumstances. The incident took place within the limits of the Darakhshan police station.
The senior police officer of Karachi Police, said that the deceased youth has been identified as 26-year-old Adil Masood Khan, a resident of Gulistan-e-Jauhar and was a graduate of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA).
The police official said that seven friends had gathered in an apartment on Saturday night to enjoy the good weather of the city.
He added that all those friends used to gather at different places in a week or a month.
At around 5 am, 2 friends went to the balcony of the room to see if it was raining and in the meantime, Adil Masood slipped and fell from the 17th floor of the building to the ground which claimed his life.
According to preliminary investigations, it was an ‘accident’, the official said.
However, the police are investigating the matter further to determine the exact cause of the youth’s death.
Police said that the owner of the flat where the accident took place lives in Canada and his son had allegedly rented a room to his classmate for Rs25,000 per month.
