Kamran Bangash violates rule of his own department by attending event at women’s college
PESHAWAR: Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information and Higher Education Kamran Khan Bangash has violated a rule of his own department.
In 2018, the education department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had issued a circular which stated that no male would be a special guest in an event of women’s educational institute. The circular read that no male minister, member of the provincial or national assembly or public officer would become a guest at an educational institute of women across the province.
While Kamran Bangash attended an event at a women’s Gulbahar College in Peshawar.
The school administration’s sources said that the event was organized by KP Youth Affairs and the guest was also invited by the same. They said that the college administration did not invited the special assistant to the CM.
The order issued by the education department had also banned airing of function/ program, held in the girls schools, on social media and it imposed complete ban on media coverage of such functions in government girls schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
