K Electric issues new schedule for load shedding

K Electric has announced that there will be load shedding of more than 7 hours in many areas of Karachi.

K Electric has released the schedule of load shedding in the city. In different areas of Baldia Town, Karachi, there will be three power outages of 2 hours each.

Malir, Shah Faisal Colony will be loaded 3 times for 2 hours each. In addition, Clifton will have the same schedule as Shah Faisal Colony. Clifton’s affected areas include Machine Road, Mandra Chowk, Poonawala, Kemari Center, Shereen Jinnah Colony.

He strongly denied the reports of unannounced load shedding. A spokesman for Electric said that power supply has been restored in Shah Faisal Colony, Landhi, Malir, Quaidabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, and other parts of the city.

A spokesman for Electric said that power supply was being maintained in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Orangi Town, Baldia Town, Lyari, Kemari, and other areas.

Spokesperson Electric further said that it is inappropriate to compare regional faults with load shedding, registered users are given advance notice regarding cost down.

Spokesperson Electric further said that all the troubleshooting is done as per the rules and regulations laid down by the regulator. For complaints related to electricity, users can contact 118 call centers or K-Electric’s social media platforms.
