 Junaid Safdar decides to settle ‘permanently’ in Pakistan

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior vice-president Maryam Nawaz and Captain (retd) Safdar’s son Junaid Safdar has decided to settle ‘permanently’ in Pakistan.

Sources confirmed that Junaid Safdar would be shifting to Pakistan permanently to assist mother Maryam Nawaz in her political activities.

Junaid and his wife Ayesha Saif will reach Pakistan on Friday (December 06) from Doha.

Earlier a day, PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz left for Geneva from London for Maryam’s surgery.

Taking to Twitter, PML-N’s information secretary Marriyum Aurangzeb confirmed that Maryam Nawaz will return to Pakistan in the third week of January.

PMLN Senior Vice President @MaryamNSharif has departed for Geneva today from London for her surgery. Quaid PMLN @NawazSharifMNS is accompanying her. She will return to Pakistan in the 3rd week of January to assume her new responsibilities as Chief Organizer, Insha’Allah

Junaid Safdar accompanied his mother and grandfather on their three-week European visit in October and November.

Junaid Safdar is a Cambridge graduate and has two Master’s and two Bachelor’s degrees from UK universities.

He is a polo enthusiast and has won multiple competitions representing British universities.
