JUI-F’s Maulana Abdullah shot dead in Nowshera

NOWSHERA: Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F)’s leader Maulana Abdullah has been shot dead in Nowshera in target killing.

Police confirmed the news of death of the religious scholar, who was senior party leader of Nowshera district. He embraced martyrdom on the spot. The incident took place while he was going towards his home after leading prayer at Masjid al-Furqan.

The assailants were lying in wait for him. They opened burst of fire as soon as he approached near them. His body had been shifted to Qazi Complex. JUI-F workers staged protest outside Qazi Complex.
