PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema e Islam-F (JUI-F), on directive of its chief, will stage demonstrations in different cities of the country on Youm-e-Istehsal (tomorrow).
Amirs of the four provinces have directed amirs of districts to hold protest demonstrations at headquarters. Protests in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad and other districts of Punjab will be held under the supervision of Amir JUI-F Punjab.
Amir JUI-F KP region said protests would be held in Charsadda, Swat, Mardan, DI Khan, Bannu, Lakki Marwat and other districts of the province.
Amir JUI-F Balochistan said that protests to express solidarity with Kashmiris would be held in Chaman, Kalat, Ziyarat, Mastung and other districts. Amir JUI-F Sindh announced to stage demonstrations in Hyderabad, Sukker, Larkana, Pannu Aaqil, Ghotki and other districts. Amir JUI-F Islamabad said a protest would be staged outside National Press Club.
The JUI-F spokesperson said that exploitation of the Kashmiri people was made possible after consent of the ruling government. He said Kashmiris would never pardon the government for trade of the valley.
The nation will observe Youm-e-Istehsal on Wednesday (tomorrow) to express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people on completion of one year military siege of Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
It was on the August 5 last year that the special constitutional status of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir was scrapped by the Modi government.
A host of events have been arranged in order to denounce the Indian unilateral illegal actions against Kashmiri people as well as the atrocities being carried out by the Indian forces in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will address AJK Assembly tomorrow to reaffirm Pakistan’s support to the cause of Kashmiris.
Solidarity walks of one mile will be arranged in all the main cities including the federal capital.
President Arif Alvi will lead the walk in Islamabad.
The Participants of the walk will wear black bands and carry the flags of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
One minute silence is to be observed across the country. Traffic to be halted for one minute and sirens will be played.
The television channels and Radio will play Pakistan and AJK National anthems immediately after one minute silence.
A special session of the Senate has also been summoned tomorrow in which glowing tributes will be paid to the sacrifices being rendered by the Kashmiri people for their just struggle.
