KARACHI: Jamiat-e-Ulama-e-Islam (Fazl) held a rally against Israel in Karachi on Thursday. Hamas senior leader Ismail Abdel Salam Ahmed Haniyeh also addressed the rally through video link.
The leaders of 11-party opposition alliance, Pakistan Democratic Movement, were also present in the rally where they claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan was selling out Kashmir. Former prime minister and senior PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Saeed Ghani of the PPP attended the rally.
“I want to send a clear message to my Palestinian brothers that Pakistani nation will stand with you till last drop of their blood,” said Fazl while addressing the rally. He further added that free Palestinian state and end of unjust Israel was a part of JUI-F manifesto.
Thousands of supporters of JUI-F gathered near Mazar-i-Quaid on New M.A. Jinnah Road to protest against the Zionist State.
Earlier, JUI-F was denied permission for a rally by the local administration but it was reported by the media that the party would take out the rally and it didn’t want any “clash” with the administration.

The opposition leaders also declared that their rally that was going to be held on February 5 in Rawalpindi would lead to the fall of “pro-India government” of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf.
“Keep your passion and motivation charged as this will ultimately lead to the fall of this unjust government,” the JUI-F chief said as the crowd cheered.
PDM leadership announced to hold rallies in Karachi (again) and Hyderabad after Rawalpindi power show.
