 Joyland loses out on Oscar 2023 nomination in International Feature Film Category

Pakistani film Joyland failed to bag its first Oscar nomination in the International Feature Film Category.

Saim Sadiq’s film which became Pakistan’s first ever film to have been shortlisted for the Academy Awards didn’t get a nomination.

Multiverse sci-fi smashe “Everything Everywhere All at Once” topped the list with 11 nominations, followed by Irish dark comedy “The Banshees of Inisherin” and World War I flick “All Quiet on the Western Front” at nine.
