Leading journalist Matiullah Jan goes missing from Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Matiullah Jan’s wife works in a government school, and he went to pick up his wife from school.

His car has been parked outside the school for two hours, his phone is also in the car. He went missing before he could pick his wife. There is no information about where he has been taken to. Jan’s wife has confirmed that he went missing.

Jan was due to appear in the Supreme Court this week after it took suo-moto notice of an alleged contemptuous tweet by the journalist.
