ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government will include the journalist community in Prime Minister’s housing and health card schemes.
“The incumbent government has a strong wish to provide shelter and health cards to the journalists discharging duties in big cities,” he said while talking to a local news channel.
To a query, the information minister said the National Accountability Bureau was bound to settle the corruption cases within the prescribed period.
He said the government wanted to expedite the process of accountability without delay and in this connection all out efforts had been made.
Appreciating the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies, he said they were playing vital role in combating terror in Pakistan.
