US President-elect Joe Biden called on Donald Trump for reconciliation on Tuesday through his official Twitter account.
After the results of the US presidential election 2020 were announced, the former President had opposed the victory of his rival candidate but later approved the transfer of power. However being extremely famous for his furious and frustrated reactions on twitter, Trump had recently declared the presidential race as “the most corrupt election in American political history” while giving warnings that he “will never concede”. Although Twitter again labeled trump’s claims as ‘disputed’.
Later on that day the newly elected President Joe Biden also took to Twitter and formally invited Donald Trump to mend their differences.” It’s time to put aside the partisanship and the rhetoric designed to demonize one another,” tweeted Biden while emphasizing on “We have to come together”.
In US presidential election 2020 Joe Biden has defeated Donald Trump by securing 306 electoral votes in his favor. He has been elected as the 46th president of the United States
