JI holds protest against France, its president
KARACHI: Jamaat e Islami on Wednesday held a “symbolic protest” against publication of blasphemous caricatures in France and President Emmanuel Macron’s support for them at Teen Talwar roundabout in Karachi.
JI’s Sindh MPA Syed Abdul Rasheed and JI Karachi Ameer Hafiz Naeem were also present on this occasion.
The participants of the protest demanded from the Muslim world to sever ties with France. They said France and the Western world should know how much Muslims were hurt over their desecrating act.
JI Ameer Siraj ul Haq has announced to hold nationwide protests on Friday (Oct 30), while JI’s Karachi chapter will hold a rally from Quaid e Azam’s Mausoleum to Tibet Centre in Saddar on Sunday (Nov 1).
