Jewish actress Gal Gadot’s film banned in Kuwait
The Gulf state of Kuwait has banned the film of Gal Gadot, an American-Jewish actress.
According to sources, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has confirmed the ban on the upcoming Mystery Thriller film (Death on the Nail) by Gal Gadot. The Minister of Information and Broadcasting said that Gal Gadot’s film will not be released in Kuwait next month.
According to the news agency, the Kuwaiti government banned the film of the Jewish actress after the demand of social media users. Kuwaiti social media users have called on the government to ban Gadot’s film because of her pro-Israel and anti-Palestinian policies.
Most consumers reminded the government that Gadot supported Israeli aggression and the military in 2014, while opposing Hamas and calling it a terrorist.
According to consumers, at that time, due to the Israeli aggression, about two and a half thousand Palestinian civilians, while 70 Israeli soldiers were killed.
Following demands from social media users, the Kuwaiti government confirmed the ban on the Jewish actress’ film. Earlier, in other Arab countries, including Kuwait, Gal Gadot’s film Wonder Woman and other films have been banned.
Kuwait is one of the Arab countries that does not openly support the resumption of relations with Israel.
