According to a report of a foreign news agency, the owner of the jeweller’s shop conspired to commit a false incident and carried out a robbery in his shop in order to get insurance money from the banks.
According to the report, the false incident of theft took place in the Indian city of Delhi.
The suspects wore burqas and entered the shop with fake pistols. Police later investigated the incident and arrested three suspects, including the shop owner. The owner has also confessed to his nefarious plan.
Police officials say the owner of the jewelry shop had filed a case that two women entered his shop and fled with valuable jewelry, including a large sum of money.
